Solution dyed heather gray, 1 x 1 rib knit quilted to encapsulate a 0.8 osy DuPont™ Nomex® Nano Flex particulate barrier which blocks an average of 96% of harmful submicron size particulate. Non-chaffing flat seams sewn with DuPont™ Nomex® thread. PGI quilted BarriAire™ composite fabrics recently achieved Viral Filtration Efficiency (VFE) Rating of 96.8% and Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) Rating of 97.9% (as conducted by Nelson Labs, U.S.A.).
Nomex® Nano Flex material consists of nonwoven, submicron, continuous nano-fibers and is inherently flame resistant. It is thinner and lighter weight than typical nonwoven materials. Nomex® Nano Flex is highly breathable and combines exceptional elasticity with superior particulate blocking performance.
